What this site is

Volt & Valley is an independent publisher of buying guides, published by The First Buyer. It provides general information about portable power stations, solar generators and related equipment. It is not a retailer, it does not sell products, and it does not hold stock or process orders.

Information, not advice

Everything here is general information. It is not professional, electrical, medical or safety advice, and it is not a substitute for a manufacturer's own documentation or a qualified professional's judgment.

• Always read and follow the manufacturer's manual for any product you buy. Where our figures and theirs differ, theirs govern.
• Electrical work — permanent wiring, alternator charging setups, transfer switches — should be carried out or checked by a qualified person. Our guides describe how things work; they are not installation instructions.
